THEY CALL ME SiR is Canadian singer/songwriter Scott Randall’s solo project. His songs draw on Indie-Folk, Americana, Bluegrass, and Folk-Roots. Based out of tranquil Peace River, Alberta, THEY CALL ME SiR spent 25 years playing in a variety of local bluegrass, folk, and gospel groups, who is now bringing his own songs to the stage. A multi-instrumentalist, you will hear acoustic guitar, harmonica, drum, and vocal stylings in his thoughtful and upbeat songs.

 Previously the bass player in the local bluegrass band The Peace Valley Boys for over 20 years, THEY CALL ME SiR has also been in folk and gospel groups. After competing and placing in local talent competitions he is now moving forward with bringing his own songs to the stage.

​THEY CALL ME SiR has performed at a variety of festivals including PeaceFest, The Fireweed Festival, Clearfest, Heritage Days, The Harvest Moon Festival, The Northbase Festival, The George Lake Music Festival and many different venues throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. His songs have been played on radio stations across western Canada, including on CKUA, CBC North, and CKRP. THEY CALL ME SiR has been a finalist for songwriting awards and was a showcase artist at Songrise 2024.

His debut album, Great Big World, showcased his Americana stylings and is currently available for purchase or streaming. THEY CALL ME SiR's latest release, Beautiful Day, is a 5 song EP showcasing his Indie-Folk stylings. He is currently recording his second full-length album.
